What can make meetings better?

Everyone says there are too many meetings, but what can be done about them? Technology and the desire to be valued make meetings larger and easier to schedule, and that’s before knowing whether anyone will pay attention. Think about the participants over yourself, advises Steven Rogelberg, an organizational science professor. "If you are running a meeting, your job is to orchestrate the experience. You are a steward of other people’s time," he says.
