Wanted: Five deans for Montana State University – Many other opportunities available

Three deans are planning to leave Montana State University http://www.montana.edu/jobs/ this summer, bringing to five the number of top academic positions currently vacant at MSU’s nine colleges.

MSU Provost Martha Potvin said Tuesday it’s just coincidence that two deans have decided to retire now and a third is stepping down, while two dean’s jobs are still vacant from last year.

"People do retire," Potvin said. "We just have a perfect storm of a number of people in transition at the same time."
