Utah board approves $2.7M incentive and $480K grant for computer center

The Governor’s Office of Economic Development board of directors approved two incentives on Thursday.
One was for the San Francisco-area company Workday Inc., which is planning to open a computer center in the Salt Lake Valley. The incentive of $2.7 million will be provided to the company as it creates as many as 243 jobs over the next 10 years.
The second incentive was from the state’s Industrial Assistance Fund. It was a one-time economic-opportunity grant of $482,510
