University of Montana scientists give mock interviews to practice explaining research to public

More than a dozen University of Montana scientists and researchers sat for mock media interviews this week, participating in a program aimed at improving their dialogue with the public.
The program, "Journalistic Tools for Scientists," was promoted last month by School of Journalism professor Henriette Lowisch, who’s looking to help student scientists and working researchers bridge the communication gap with the public.
