Thornton technology hub gets $500K infrastructure upgrade in Butte, Montana

The Thornton Building will undergo a $500,000 infrastructure upgrade this winter, helping to improve Butte’s hub of information technology.

Jim Kambich, president of the Montana Economic Revitalization and Development Institute http://www.merdi.org/ , said improvements will be made in electrical systems and backup and redundancy hardware for the vast amount of data stored in the basement of the Uptown building, 65 E. Broadway.
