Sun Valley Marketing Alliance to shift advertising focus to young affluents

Bear Paw Development Corporation is a private non-profit organization created for the purpose of administering programs to help improve regional economic conditions in Hill, Blaine, Liberty, Chouteau and Phillips Counties and the Fort Belknap and Rocky Boy's Indian Reservations.

The Sun Valley Marketing Alliance wants to lure a new generation of visitors to Sun Valley by touting a promise of opportunities to create authentic, original experiences that become tradition.

"This place is an original but we lost relevancy as we stopped being an original," Candice Pate, the Alliance’s new interim chief management officer, told those attending a joint meeting of the Sun Valley and Ketchum city councils Thursday evening.
