What can the company do to save itself?

For one, show that it’s more than just a payment processor. And it’s eager to do this by demonstrating the kind of analytics acrobatics it can perform on its transaction data. Square’s been running a lot of these little transaction proofs recently. There was one on haircuts (don’t get your hair cut in San Francisco or New York if you’re trying to save money).
