Show reason in Montana net-metering debate

If legislators do pass net metering bills this session, such as raising power output caps, they should try to make those changes reasonable. Legislators should also try to fashion Montana’s net metering system to be as fair as possible, not only to property owners who want to erect a wind turbine or solar panels, but to their fellow electricity customers, who already subsidize those projects in several ways.
