Republican leaders say no to special legislative session
May 31, 2017 /
Republican leaders responded with a wait-and-see attitude Tuesday to moderate members of their party who had hinted at convening a special legislative session to discuss funding for infrastructure projects.
Republican Reps. Rob Cook, Frank Garner and Ryan Lynch, along with Sens. Llew Jones, Duane Ankney and Ed Buttrey spoke at a panel in Helena last week. MTN News reported the group had been in talks with the governor since the end of the session, pushing for a special session.
