MSU has brighter budget outlook than most campuses

Montana State University http://www.montana.edu predicts enrollment will grow next fall by more than 200 students and that will contribute to a $9 million boost in its budget.

The Montana Board of Regents, meeting in Dillon on Thursday and Friday, got a preview of state campus budgets.

While most campuses are struggling with drops in enrollment, the MSU Bozeman campus expects to set another enrollment record next fall.
