I hope this doesn’t come as a surprise to anyone but Montana is a terrible place to do business for those entrepreneurs that only sell their services or products in the local market. Montanan’s have witnessed the closing up of small towns for decades – that’s nothing new. Soon, if not already, we will begin seeing the economic decay of what many of us would call medium size towns.
