Republicans in the Montana House have forged an unusual agreement to bring a select number of yet-to-be-determined – and potentially prickly — bills to the House floor.
Leaders of the House Republican majority told MTN News this week that the "informal agreement" between GOP moderates and conservatives is meant to help heal the rift between the two factions that broke into open political warfare at the 2015 Legislature.
"We had a meeting where we said we wanted to bury the hatchet," said House Speaker Austin Knudsen, R-Culbertson.
