Montana Career Opportunity – Webmaster – New West Publishing

New West Publishing, a next-generation media company based in Missoula, MT, is seeking a fulltime Webmaster to manage and develop the http://www.NewWest.Net web site as well as its sister site, the Flathead Beacon.

Candidates should be proficient in HTML, and have at least some familiarity with CSS, PHP, Javascript, Flash, XML, and MySQL. Knowledge of Apache, of Ajax and other advanced Web services protocols, and of search engine optimization (SEO) would be major assets.

Candidates should be comfortable working with a small and highly committed team in a start-up environment. The position can be based either at New West headquarters in Missoula, or at the Flathead Beacon offices in Kalispell.

The compensation package includes health benefits, three weeks paid vacation, and stock options. Salary will depend on skills and experience. New West is a local and regional online publication about the Rocky Mountain West, and is backed by a prestigious group of angel investors.
