Denise Juneau got a tour of Willard Alternative High School on Friday from seniors Dominique Daricek and Cynthea Newman.
On the tour, Juneau, superintendent of the Montana Office of Public Instruction, told the students she knows Willard is beloved, and she wanted to know why. Montana counts 35 alternative high schools, and she said they have great lessons to teach other campuses.
"What was not working for you in the traditional high school, and what is working for you at Willard?" Juneau asked.
