Missoula official says design standards could improve function of development

New design standards proposed by the Missoula City Council won’t do away with bad architecture or end corporate branding, though they could help raise the bar for future development, the head of Development Services says.
Members of the City Council continue to mull preliminary design standards to prevent what some see as a pattern of poor land use and unsightly development in parts of the city.
