Missoula, Montana’s Mountain Line lands grant to replace diesel buses with clean, green electric

Mountain Line http://www.mountainline.com/ will begin replacing its fleet of diesel buses with electric vehicles in the coming year, a move made possible by a federal grant announced on Wednesday.

The Missoula Urban Transportation District received a $500,000 award to begin the conversion. Funding from the federal Low or No Emission Vehicle Program, or "Low-No," will enable the agency to cover the difference in cost between diesel and electric bus purchases.
