She hails from Texas, and met her husband when they were completing their medical residency training in Billings. After finishing the three-year program, they moved to New Zealand for a year and a half with their son, Foster. They returned to the states after daughter, Isabeau – or "Beau" – was born five months ago.

Federal grant expands care in rural towns

Patients will have broader access to care at medical centers in Worden, Joliet and Bridger thanks to an open-ended federal grant that will expand clinic hours and introduce sliding-fee payment options, among other changes.
The Yellowstone City-County Health Department will assume management of the clinics using a $578,000 annual increase in funding from the federal Health Resources and Services Administration.
