Janine Benyus of the Biomimicry Institute in Missoula wins prestigious $100,000 science award

Janine Benyus of the Biomimicry Institute http://biomimicryinstitute.org/ in Missoula won the $100,000 award among nine other scientists for their work in benefiting the environment.
Benyus is an expert in Biomimicry which is a concept which looks at how nature works for breakthrough ideas to improve products and manufacturing methods.
This is the 17th year of the Heinz awards, in honor of the late US Senator John Heinz III, and the recipient of the award gets to use the one hundred thousand dollars as they so choose as well as a medallion with a picture of the senator.
