Great Falls out of the running for 100-worker insurance call center

The Illinois company working to buy a portion of Blue Cross Blue Shield Montana says it must move forward with a separate business move to add 100 employees to its call center operations and is no longer considering Great Falls as a site.

Health Care Service Corp. spokesman Greg Thompson said the company is committed to the purchase from BCBSMT, which needs state approval, but must increase its call-center workforce by this summer.
