First-generation Montana college applicants give back

Helena High School junior Samuel Bryan will be the first member of his family to attend college, and through the TRIO program Upward Bound, he has already visited dozens of universities.

Bryan and 70 other students from Anaconda, Butte, Helena and Deer Lodge volunteered at schools and community organizations around Helena on Friday for TRIO’s National Day of Service.
