Disney CEO, Bob Iger, Montana Governor Schweitzer and Attorney General kick off second day of Montana Economic Summit in Butte
September 14, 2010 /
The second and final day on the Montana Economic Development Summit kicked off in Butte this morning with comments from Montana Attorney General Steve Bullock.
"We need to think about where Montana will be in 10 years," Bullock said.
The downtown in the economy can be traced to the businesses and industries that stopped looking at the long-term, according to Bullock.
"Both business and government have to say ‘go beyond,’" he said.
One third of Montana’s economy is still based on agriculture and about 150 farms and ranches are lost each year, he said.
Next up was Gov. Brian Schweitzer interviewing President and CEO of the Walt Disney Company, Bob Iger.
