Custer Country, Montana reorganizes, continues its focus on entire region

When Custer Country’s http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Custer_County,_Montana promotions contract went to the Billings Chamber of Commerce Convention and Visitors Bureau in September, some in the southeast Montana tourism region feared domination by Billings.

But not Laura Lee Ulrich, owner of the Copper Moon store in Broadus.

"Nobody says ‘Let’s go to Montana and see Billings,’" she said. "Billings needs the rest of the region as bad as the region needs Billings."
