Commission will use search firm to help find Bozeman’s next city manager
Bozeman’s five-member city commission decided unanimously Thursday that it will use a national search firm to help find a replacement for former City Manager Chris Kukulski.
City Human Resources Director Bethany Jorgenson told the body a search firm’s services will probably cost the city between $20,000 and $25,000, but advised the investment would bring the city a broader pool of applicants as it looks for its next top administrator.
"It’s just critical that we do this," said Commissioner Jeff Krauss. "It’s a once-every-13-year thing lately, and you want to do it right."
