Capital still available for SBA loans
October 19, 2008 /
While bank loans have all but dried up as the U.S. and the world face a cash crisis, there is still one reliable source of funds for small businesses.
The U.S. Small Business Administration, working with regional and national banks, still has capital available to start, expand or buy a business. In the 10 months from Oct. 1, 2007, to July 31, 2008, 530 loans totaling more than $109 million were made in the SBA’s Spokane territory.
