Terry Davenport says he procrastinated when he applied for the EcoStar pollution prevention award a few days before the deadline.

The award program, in its seventh year, is coordinated by the Montana State University Extension Pollution Prevention Program. It recognizes Montanans who surpass state and federal requirements to reduce solid and hazardous waste and conserve valuable resources like water, energy and clean air.
