Pushed by expanded manufacturing, the Great Falls metro area economy grew considerably faster than the nation’s economy last year according to data released Tuesday morning by the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis.
The statistics, measured by Gross Domestic Product, or GDP, showed the economy of the Great Falls Metro Area, or Cascade County, grew 48 percent faster than the nation’s economy in 2015, said an excited Brett Doney, president of the Great Falls Development Authority.
