Bozeman schools see results teaching kids social-emotional skills

Teaching Bozeman school kids skills to cope with social and emotional problems is showing positive results, school leaders say, and it could even make schools safer.
But they worry that this is the last year they’ll have federal grant money to keep hiring the staff members who make the program work.
They’re trying to find additional sources of money, so counselors, teachers and specialists can help students who are dealing with stress, anxiety and trauma.
