Bozeman-based medical data recording and electronics company Neuralynx helps with brain research

The system, a type of brain-computer technology, was developed by Dr. Stead and Neuralynx http://neuralynx.com/ founder Casey Stengel. They were able to develop a data recording system that picked up brain activity from the implanted micro-wires over the background noise typically surrounding a patient in the intensive care unit. High-powered sockets, dozens of machines and people floating around usually muddy electrical signals, Stead said.
