BoomStartup picks 10 companies to receive $15K in seed capital
May 22, 2010 /
An Orem-based company that provides seed capital to fledgling high-tech businesses has selected 10 companies to participate in its inaugural three-month mentoring program.
Its goal: help the owners of those new enterprises get off on the right track.
BoomStartup will be giving each of the companies up to $15,000 in seed capital, free office space, legal and other professional services — as well as a crash course taught by a group of successful entrepreneurs.
The 10 companies were selected from a pool of more than 100 applicants, said Jon Bradshaw, one of the founders of BoomStartup.
