Boise, Idaho based Balihoo announces $7 million in new funding led by Boston-based V.C. OpenView Venture Partners.

Boise-based marketing technology firm Balihoo http://www.balihoo.com/ is set to receive a major financial shot in the arm, with $7 million in new funding led by OpenView Venture Partners. Balihoo, whose Local Marketing Automation platform provides franchises and national brands with custom local messaging, announced the investment on Aug. 26.

Boise-based V.C. firm Highway 12 Ventures http://www.highway12ventures.com/ and Lacuna Gap Capital, of Boulder, Colo., together supplied the company’s initial capital and contributed to the $7 million funding announced Aug. 26.
