As the Missoula Area Economic Development Corp. dissolves, the Montana Technology Enterprise Center looks to future

The Montana Technology Enterprise Center http://www.maedc.org/montec – known as MonTEC – will soon be without a manager, as one of its founders and part owners, the Missoula Area Economic Development Corp., dissolves.

The board of the financially troubled MAEDC voted unanimously recently to dismantle itself. The group is now forming a committee to oversee a dissolution plan and is looking to the University of Montana – which helped create MonTEC – to formulate a new course for the facility.
