Alex Apostle announces resignation as Missoula school superintendent

The superintendent of Missoula County Public Schools announced Friday he was leaving the job to take a similar position in Washington, adding that he wanted to live closer to family.
Superintendent Alex Apostle made the announcement to trustees, staff and students on Friday after accepting the job as superintendent of the Shelton Public Schools in Shelton, Washington.
"My wife Susan and I look forward to the opportunity to return home, closer to our families in Washington," Apostle said.
