Airfare rising in Bozeman faster than national average

The rising cost of flights out of Bozeman has outstripped the national average, even as the local airport expands and adds flights.

The average price of a domestic round-trip ticket out of Bozeman was $452.73 during the first six months of 2013, up more than $14 over the average fare price through the first half of 2012, according to the most recent data from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics.
