Agency uses Internet to attract future apprentices in Montana

Hoping to attract younger Montanans into the construction and building trades as well as healthcare, manufacturing and food service, the Department of Labor and Industry has launched a Web site aimed at drawing more high school students into the state’s various apprenticeship programs.

The Web site, http://www.exploreapprenticeship.mt.gov, explains the state’s various apprenticeship programs and tells students which high school classes are important for which potential careers.
