Capital projects are critical to Montana communities

Officials from Cascade County, the city of Great Falls and the Great Falls Public Schools must make some critical decisions during the next few years.

They will look at the condition of their buildings, decide whether to renovate or replace them, and decide whether to build any new buildings. Voters will be asked to contribute property tax dollars to put these decisions into action.

Of course, capital projects such as erecting a new building often get short shrift.
