As an attorney, I have had the opportunity to work with businesses ranging from billion-dollar-a-year ventures to startups financed by the entrepreneur's credit cards. I have seen businesses of all types succeed and fail. As we all know, capitalism is risk, and there is often a fine line between being on the cover of Forbes or thousands of dollars in debt trying to keep a struggling business on life support.
