The department made the announcement Saturday. Ugobe, is the company that created the lifelike toy, Pleo the dinosaur, and it's not a stranger to Idaho. The company is based in Emeryville, Calif. but its research and development lab with 10 employees is already in Eagle. The company's co-founder, inventor Caleb Chung, is also from Idaho.
Teri Bath, president of the Eagle Chamber of Commerce http://www.eaglechamber.com/ , says luring the headquarters away from California lends credibility to the southern Idaho city as a burgeoning technology lab.
