The money is in a package of $3.6 million in drinking-water research grants the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency awarded to four universities, one nonprofit organization and a research institute.
The MSU work will include an emphasis on water quality and associated health considerations on the Crow Reservation in southeastern Montana.
