This position supports the members, board of trustees, and committees that compose City Club Missoula.
Responsibilities include convening, planning, summarizing meetings, event planning and organization, database management, updating website, calendar management, coordination of communications including sponsors and media, and special projects.
The successful candidate will be have proven organizational skills, show responsibility, ability to work independently, skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, flexibility, and a personable disposition that represents City Club Missoula with professionalism and distinction. He or she will have a strong interest in civic participation, with exceptional attention to detail and professional communication skills. Computer proficiency including MS Office software and email is essential. Familiarity with website maintenence is helpful. Administrative and event planning experience strongly preferred.
Compensation is $12 per hour. This position is very part-time at approximately 3-5 hours per week. CCM forums and organizational meetings typically occur on a schedule of once per month with follow-up and membership requiring attention between. Much of this work can be done from home or by telecommuting.
