Learning to Teach Tech-Savvy Students

In the last decade, I’ve noticed that traditional college students seem more dependent on technology, less comfortable working with others, less able to weather criticism, and unwilling to persist when their first attempt met with failure.

With lightning-fast technology at their fingertips, they accept the first “hit” of a global search engine as the last word on a subject. When asked to rewrite material or review lessons, this group of multi-taskers seems frustrated and impatient.
