Montana University scholarship program to aid slain soldiers' children. “Grateful Nation”

The Montana Board of Regents voiced support for a new scholarship program that will help make a college education possible for Montana children whose parent or guardian is killed during active duty in Iraq or Afghanistan.

The proposal, called “Grateful Nation,” http://www.gratefulnationmontana.com/ was envisioned by University of Montana alumnus David Bell and was introduced to regents by University of Montana President George Dennison during the Academic and Student Affairs Committee meeting Wednesday.
