S/he lobbies federal and state government officials and employees which includes regular contact with local, county, state and federal officials regarding matters pertaining to administrative and legislative actions related to the mission of the Conservancy and fund raising activity to increase the level of financial support for Conservancy projects and priorities; requires travel to Washington D.C. as well as within the State of Montana. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in political science, public policy, government relations or related field and 5-7 years experience, including experience working with legislative or campaign issues as they relate to conservation. Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable. Master's degree preferred.
