Information technology trade media looking for expert insight are finding it in Missoula.

Craig Flint, Vice President of Missoula-based IT consulting firm Computer ER http://www.computer-er.com, has provided his expertise in recent months to leading industry publications including CRN Tech and Ingram Micro Channel Advisor http://www.matr.net/files/100807article.pdf – discussing issues such as hosted managed services, storage area networks and the growing IT management needs of small and midsize businesses.

“We appreciate the recognition from the trade press of our growing leadership position in the industry,” Flint said. “Our efforts to enhance our line of services and capabilities have been well-received by the market, which is now starting to show interest in across a wider geographic region. We are pleased to see the trade press recognizing that.”

In addition to its recent recognition as “Best Computer Repair Shop” for the third consecutive year by the Missoula Independent, Computer ER began offering managed services in 2005. A major component of Computer ER’s service offerings is RightNet, through which Computer ER monitors a client’s system remotely and is able to make adjustments or address issue before a major problem occurs.

“These are examples of how small and midsize companies are coming to expect the same kind of network support that larger companies enjoy – and they should,” Flint said. “We are committed to being leaders in providing those services, and this recent recognition affirms the success of our efforts.”
