The board of directors of Green River Futures, Inc. http://www.greenriverfutures.com/ is seeking an experienced economic development professional to manage its proactive economic development programs. Futures was established in 2003 and has a proven success record. Green River is a growing community located on interstate 80 in southwest Wyoming 175 miles east of Salt Lake City. Futures primary activities include product development (sites and buildings) and business development (nurturing start-ups, small business financing, business recruitment, etc).
The primary focus is on commercial, retail, office, residential and some light manufacturing recruitment. The position requires an individual with progressively evolving economic development experience in all aspects of real estate development, business financing, and proactive business recruitment.
The selected professional will work alone without support staff and thus must be able to work independently. A Certified Economic Developer is desired. Please provide salary history and requirements.
