Angel investors can be a godsend

We’ve all heard of angel investors, but who are these elusive providers of seed funds?
These private individuals invest in entrepreneurial businesses, typically taking an equity position in the company. But it might be instructive, for both angel wannabes and cash-strapped entrepreneurs, to know more about this class of investors.
Because they are individuals, there is no "typical" angel investor. At the Northwest Entrepreneur Network, however, we often help startups connect with angels and vice versa. Over the years we have seen enough of them to feel comfortable making these generalizations:
