Bootstrap Montana Seminar, 05/23, Whitefish, Montana 8:30 AM Grouse Mountain Lodge Bootstrap Montana is hosting an educational seminar geared toward rural entrepreneurs at the Grouse Mountain Lodge in Whitefish, MT on May 23, 2008. Other seminars will be held in Conrad, MT on March 20, 2008 and Miles City, MT on April 10, 2008. Bootstrap Montana Seminar Series will inform business men and women, community members, and those with the entrepreneurial spirit about the philosophy of “bootstrapping,” or building your business with little or no outside investment capital. The seminar will include discussions around the tenets of bootstrapping a start-up organization. It will also include the entrepreneurial principles of sales, marketing and finance. Speakers at the Whitefish event will include: •Greg Gianforte, CEO and Founder of RightNow Technologies http://www.rightnow.com Greg will give a keynote address at this event on customer service expertise. •Cindy Taylor, Chairwoman of TechRanch, Founder of IPG Consulting Cindy will teach comprehensive sales planning and strategies. •Jake Cook, Founder of Sweet Onion Creations Jake will outline traditional guerrilla and online marketing best practices. •Gary Bloomer, Director of Client Development, TechRanch Gary will demonstrate cash management planning tools and techniques. •Jessica Watson, Director of Finance, TechRanch Jessica will discuss the art of thrift and outside funding options.
This event is an opportunity for community members and businesspeople to establish business connections. Lunch will be provided. The educational content will be followed with an informal networking reception. The cost for the full day including food and drinks will be $20 per person.Space is limited. Please register early.
