Montana unemployment rates remain low, Gallatin County leads in job gains for year
November 26, 2018 /
Gov. Steve Bullock announced last week that Montana’s seasonally adjusted employment rate is 3.7 percent, ticking up slightly from September and placing it at the same rate as July and August.
Gallatin County came in at No. 11 for counties with the lowest unemployment rates in the state with a rate of 2.6 percent. The state’s non-seasonally adjusted rate was 3.3 percent. Gallatin County’s rate was lower than every other county of a similar size or larger, coming in above Missoula, Lewis and Clark and Yellowstone counties.
