Roundabouts, new traffic lanes among proposed options to improve Helena’s Custer Avenue traffic – What about Missoula’s Reserve Street?

The Montana Department of Transportation held an open house in the Capital High School lobby Wednesday night to gather community input on potential designs to improve traffic flow on Custer Avenue.

Among the proposals brought to the open house were designs that replace intersections with roundabouts and a design that improves signaling as well as adding traffic lanes. MDT made it clear that these designs are not final and only exist to show possibilities and gain community feedback.
