University of Wyoming proposes end of geography department
November 15, 2018 /
The University of Wyoming has proposed dissolving its geography department and eliminating most geography degrees next year.
The Laramie Boomerang reports the university’s Office of Academic Affairs has suspended enrollment in all existing geography degree programs, except the geography minor for undergraduates.
According to the university’s proposal, the department has low enrollment, and "faculty resources are insufficient to support programs."
