Progress report: Praxis Center (National Center for Health Care Informatics) still on track for Butte, Montana

Despite getting overtures from other communities interested in the project, the National Center for Health Care Informatics https://www.nchci.org/ remains committed to establishing a medical-simulation training facility in Butte.

That’s according to company Chief Executive Officer Ray Rogers, who, along with business partner and company president Pat Dudley, announced in March plans to build a $35 million health-care training facility at the corner of Park and Arizona streets in Uptown Butte.

In addition to raising capital for the venture, the Praxis team’s current tasks are lining up key personnel, continuing to build its partnerships with contractors and vendors and continuing to build its expertise in resiliency training for nurses — just one of the many fields of study that will be available to students.
